Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor and producer. She is a top-paid actress and has received many accolades for her acting. Anushka Sharma was the child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. Her father was a former colonel was Anushka. and her mother is a homemaker. The elder brother of Anushka Karnesh Sharma was a member of the Merchant Navy and now is an independent film maker. Anushka Sharma graduated at the Army School, Bangalore and completed her the Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters of Arts qualification in economics. Anushka Sharma dreamed of becoming a model or journalist and was not a performer. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating in the field and received training from Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka was chosen to be selected by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which was held at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka has since her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has been featured in ads for brands such as Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began auditioning for films and joined an acting academy along with her professional career as model. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. For her screen test, she was not willing to take an unplanned test and instead took a day to prepare herself. Then she was offered three films by Yash Raj Films. In the movie she played the role of a young bride to a middle-aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan was playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The movie received mixed praises. Anushka Sharma was in the movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. She portrayed a Punjabi woman of middle class, who has her own wedding business. The movie received positive reviews and was a sleeper hit. With Band Baaja Baaraat Anushka's three-film agreement under the Yash Raj Films banner was completed.
